Four students are now set to embark on the opportunity of a lifetime. Thanks to the Bachelor of Commerce program at the University of Melbourne; they will be spending two weeks at Tourism Australia in Seoul!
Third year students – Roy Mao, Jiani Chen, Olivia Plymin, and Jun You had the option of taking Global Management Consulting, which through the use of international settings; gives them valuable industry experience, as they dive into the day to day aspects of their future careers, and face the issues often encounter in the course of their work.
Steven Murphy; GM of People & Culture for Tourism Australia says that developing talent is paramount in the partnership. “We believe in giving students and graduates who are passionate about tourism and Australia, the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the tourism and marketing sector.”
TA isn’t alone in the program either; four other companies participate such as ANZ, IBM, and Bayer. In addition to the partnership, Tourism Australia also offers The Maggie White Students and Graduates Program; providing another range of internship opportunities and more!
